Terms of Service

Last updated: 24 July 2026 · Operated by GRANDGATE VENTURES PRIVATE LIMITED ("VOTEin", "we")

1. What VOTEin is

VOTEin (votein.in) lets registered users create polls and share them; anyone who verifies a mobile number may vote. Results reflect only what participants on VOTEin said — they are never a representative survey, an election, or a legally binding decision.

2. Your account

You register with a mobile number you control. You are responsible for activity under your account. One person, one account. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard; deletion is permanent.

3. Your content

Poll questions, context, options, reasons, links and images are created by users, not by VOTEin. The creator is responsible for their poll's content and for having the right to any image they upload. By publishing, you grant VOTEin a licence to host, display and (for readability) machine-translate your poll. AI translations are labelled reading aids; the original text remains authoritative.

4. Rules

Content must comply with our Content Rules and applicable Indian law. We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend accounts for violations. Polls with recorded votes cannot be edited — this protects every participant.

5. Integrity of voting

You may not vote more than once per poll, use numbers you do not control, automate voting, or attempt to manipulate results. We may void manipulated polls.

6. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is". We do not verify user content or linked pages, and we are not liable for decisions made based on poll results. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us (currently zero).

7. Grievances

Grievance Officer, GRANDGATE VENTURES PRIVATE LIMITED — grievance@votein.in. Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days, per the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts at Hyderabad, Telangana have exclusive jurisdiction. We may update these terms; continued use after an update is acceptance.
